Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2026
Take on the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and choose from the 10k, half Marathon or full Marathon, set across a stunning city route on 24–25 May 2026.
Enjoy running against the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle and along the shore of the Forth Estuary.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first timer, your miles will help fund specialist care and life-saving research for heart and lung patients.
How much does it cost?
10k: Registration fee: £15, Minimum fundraising target £150
Half Marathon: Registration fee: £25, Minimum fundraising target £350
Full Marathon: Registration fee: £35, Minimum fundraising target £500

When you take part, every penny raised funds vital research, technology and medical breakthroughs – helping us rewrite the future for millions.
In return, you’ll get a fundraising pack and a charity running vest. We’ll also be on hand with friendly advice to help you train and fundraise with confidence.
